Xanté Products a Huge Success at
Graphics of the Americas

Mar= ch 10, 2008 – Mo= bile, <= /span>AL= = 211; Xanté debuted the new Ilumina 502 digital color press and Myriad Magnetic digital media at Graphics of the Am= ericas las= t week in Miami Beach, <= /span>FL= , and announced a strategic collaboration with SMART Papers to offer customers premium heavy stock and specialty papers.

Strong turnout and strong reactions to breakthrough products

“Graphics of the Americas was the perfect venue for us to showcase the renewed and expanded Xant&eacu= te;. This was an incredibly good show for the company and its dealers,” Vi= ce President of Worldwide Sales, Scott Reese, says. “GOA is a great place to reach our valued customers from the Americas, particularly Latin America.”

Reese says that there were two stars of the show: the Xanté Adobe PDF-based workflow, now supporting the Adobe^{®
PDF Print Engine; and the new Ilumina 502. “Visitors were visibly
impressed by the ability of our workflow to drive the different CTP and pri=
nt
devices featured in our exhibit.”}

The $8995 Ilumina 502 digital press accepts heavy and special stock up to 502 gsm, with format lengths up to 47.24" for eye-catching color and contrast.

Heavy Traffic at the Booth

The Xanté booth was extremely busy, with heavy traffic throughout most of the show. Attendees gathered to see the wide var= iety of imaging solutions offered by Xanté, including the new Ilumina 502= and Myriad Magnetic media; as well as the VM4 violet metal platesetter, SpeedSe= tter polyester platesetter, Impressia GTO metal platesetter, and the PlateMaker 5 total prepress system. Attendees also enjoyed live demonstrations of OpenRIP Symphony Adobe PDF workflow and Xanté FastCards software.=

“The response was tremendous,” Reese says. “Given the momentum of GOA, we= feel very positive leading into drupa.”

Partner Training

Xanté also gave special attention to its channel partners by holding a one-day training event on February 27, the day before= GOA= sta= rted. The one-on-one training gave Xanté partners a chance to spend invalu= able time with Xanté representatives and ask questions specific to their needs. These partners also worked the Xanté booth during the = GOA= tradeshow.

Overall, the entire event demonstrated a bright future f= or Xanté and how its products are positioned to successfully meet the e= very day needs of print shop owners today.
