Reese says that there were two stars of the show: the
Xanté Adobe PDF-based workflow, now supporting the Adobe®=

PDF Print Engine; and the new Ilumina 502. “Visitors were visibly
impressed by the ability of our workflow to drive the different CTP and pri=
nt
devices featured in our exhibit.”
The $8995 Ilumina 502 digital press accepts heavy and
special stock up to 502 gsm, with format lengths up to 47.24" for
eye-catching color and contrast.
The Xanté booth was extremely busy, with heavy
traffic throughout most of the show. Attendees gathered to see the wide var=
iety
of imaging solutions offered by Xanté, including the new Ilumina 502=
and
Myriad Magnetic media; as well as the VM4 violet metal platesetter, SpeedSe=
tter
polyester platesetter, Impressia GTO metal platesetter, and the PlateMaker 5
total prepress system. Attendees also enjoyed live demonstrations of OpenRIP
Symphony Adobe PDF workflow and Xanté FastCards software.
