Artwork Systems Receives Clemson University

Corporate Award for Outstanding Support

April 26, 2007 - Ghent, Belgium - Artwork Systems is pleased to announce that it has received a Corporate Appreciation Award recognizing outstanding support from the Clemson University Graphic Communications Department.

Selected by the faculty, the Corporate Appreciation Awards are presented to companies, which, over many years, have contributed to the welfare of Clemson's Graphic Communications Department

Department chair Dr. Sam Ingram explains, "Artwork Systems has donated a full Nexus workflow as well as upgrades, maintenance assistance, and most important of all, their time. They've allowed folks like Mark Samworth, Artwork Systems Vice President of Technology, to provide expertise and knowledge for programs such as the Digital Plate for Flexography Seminar and the Treadaway Leadership Forum. These efforts provide our students with real world learning opportunities right on campus."

The Corporate Award was presented to Artwork Systems at the 15th Annual Clemson awards banquet, held at the university's campus in Clemson, South Carolina. The banquet also recognized students with both national and regional awards earned for projects and research submitted over the course of the year. Academic honors and scholarships were presented.

The Clemson University Graphic Communication program emphasizes a curriculum geared towards equipping its students with practical, problem-solving skills for the graphic communications and allied industries. The program currently enrolls nearly 350 undergraduates and 15 graduate and doctoral students.
