With close to two decades of experience, Helene Smith directs marketing public relations for major international companies in the publishing and imaging technology sectors. She consults to top-level executives worldwide, and writes for numerous trade and internal publications.

Helene is known as a highly-skilled communicator. Her circle of contacts includes numerous industry notables; including press, analysts, academia, dealers and customers in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. Helene has proven that successful public relations means facilitating positive communication between one or more groups who will stand to benefit from the relationship(s). As such, she alternately or at once plays the part of evangelist; writer; media, vendor, or customer relations specialist; market & competitive intelligence researcher; event manager; or marketing strategist.

Prior to establishing HSPR Public Relations, Helene served as Director of Public Relations for Greenstone-Roberts Advertising, then Long Island, NY's largest advertising agency. She met her current work associate, Judy Sweeney, while employed at G.S. Schwartz & Co. of New York City.

Judy Lee Sweeney provides senior level communications support for the agency’s major international clients. A seasoned professional with 20 years of experience at major public relations agencies, Judy has successfully implemented results-oriented public relations programs for companies in the high-technology, business-to-business and consumer sectors.

Judy’s accomplishments include development and implementation of comprehensive public relations programs that have included special events, publicity strategies, corporate identity programs, brochures and collateral, media training, speeches and tradeshow programs and promotions.

At world-renowned G.S. Schwartz & Company of New York City for 12 years, Judy served as Vice President responsible for managing and directing diverse accounts including: Du Pont, Dow Jones Interactive, and Prodigy. Prior to G.S. Schwartz & Co., Judy was with Edelman Worldwide, the world’s fifth-largest public relations agency; where she worked primarily on the Fuji Photo account covering corporate, consumer and professional product divisions.
